As far as my education is concerned, I consider my self very lucky. In the global scheme of things I have a number of great academic institutions to choose from, this fact makes me feel lucky to have so many choices. My chosen field of study is robotics, this field has numerous niches and plenty of jobs available. Ive recently been looking at Cal Poly Pomona as a number one choice. Most schools have an Electrical engineering program, but not an Electronic Engineering program. Cal Poly Pomona does have an Electronic Engineering program, but when I took a closer look I noticed there were more courses covering computer science than I wanted to take. I would like to cover many robotics, and electronics.
I also am considering Cal State Monterey Bay, CSUMB has a solid Electrical Engineering program, and is located very close to the research facility I want to work for. The proximity to the research facility I want to work for is almost enough reason alone. Its also In my favorite part of the country. The down side is that its an Electrical Engineering degree and not an Electronic Engineering degree.
